How does the oil finder pick my oils?
Every answer nudges the flavours, dishes and moods you lean towards. We match that against all 21 oils and show the best fit at three prices: one everyday bottle, one step up and one treat.
Do you save my answers?
No. The finder runs in your browser, sets no cookies and doesn't send your answers anywhere. Because nothing is stored, refreshing the page, or leaving it and coming back, starts the quiz again from the beginning. While you're in the quiz, the Back button still takes you to the previous question.
I have a food allergy. Can I use the finder?
You can skip oils made from nuts, sesame or wheat at the very start. The finder isn't a substitute for reading the label, so always check the allergen information on the product page before you buy.
Can I cook with these oils?
Most of our oils are at their best added once the food is off the heat: drizzled over a finished dish, whisked into a dressing or stirred through at the end. Coconut oil is the one that's happy with a bit of heat.
